Does anyone who what happened to the mother/principal, any of the 5 girls, or the coach. The movie tells us that the mother was suspended, with I think pay, pending another investigation, and her daughter is pulled out (presumably to avoid the embarassment going to that school would place upon the mother).
However I am curious to know where are they now? Did any of the fab 5 get out of high school, is the mother an administartor in another district? Does the cheerleading coach do her thing at a nearby school?

Linda Theret (the mom/principal) resigned in early 2007. Other than that, I can't dig up much, especially since the girls were minors at the time.

I know wikipedia is NOT a reliable source of information, but the wikipedia page for McKinney North High School says:

In October 2009, Theret joined the Laredo Independent School District in Laredo in Webb County in south Texas as the new executive director of curriculum and instruction, under the supervision of A. Marcus Nelson, the district superintendent. Nelson defended his choice of Theret, who was a colleague of his during the late 1990s. "First of all, she's been a 5-A high school principal" and a successful teacher for diverse, urban groups. Theret said that her entire career has been "focused on raising student achievement. . . . I'm very interested in the science of teaching, but the art as well." Nelson said that Theret was his first choice among forty-six applicants for the position
