Interesting background info on human ghost hauntings

I rented this dvd expecting a simple, stock, B horror flick.

Given the current widespread interest in the paranormal, this movie has an interesting background story on human ghost hauntings, starting with the eccentric, ethnic associate professor of astrologies, who seems to know a lot about the supernatural, spiritualism, animism, demonology, and the like, but appears to be quite a nice guy.
