Cinematic Excellence

After a long time , i have seen a hindi movie coming of age .This also had a few references to "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso", an Italian masterpiece .
Every character represented a different part of life with their own goals and purposes. As each of them try to reach them , they realise that they have so much in common and that cinema is such a powerful medium which could unite everyone .
You could see that in the end wherein Abhay Deol requests Satish Kaushik to have a movie screening for the last time as he sees the significance it had for everyone in the desert.
The female protagonists roles could have been a bit more elaborate though .But Abhay Deol fills in the gap with a brilliant performance .
