Awesome movie
Contrary what many say, I did not think that the beginning was to long. I think it gives a good insight into the day to day harassment and humiliation Palestinians have to go through in their own country.
Not everyone who watches this movie is familiar with the situation there. So I think it was appropriate, also to show that even in all this, the people do celebrate and sing.
The movie was by no means over the top and not like many movies who address the issue it was not painted in a one sided approach.
Out of my own experience it was very realistic, when I grew up, there was no Osama, I had to live with the "Arafat" and 1972 Legacy. And when I heard the Grandmothers comments about America, it could have come from any of my Family in Jerusalem.
I loved the movie based on it's realism and on the portrayal of it's characters. Also the other side, that not all jewish people are anti-arab and that not all arabs are anti-jewish.
All in all I give this movie 10-stars out of 10.
