Who's been a fan since day one?

Some shows you start watching because of word of mouth or award shows (in my case, Breaking Bad during s02). Other times, long after they've been off the air (The Wire).
I've been watching NJ since it premiered 6 years ago because I was a fan of Edie Falco after seeing her in The Sopranos.

What about you?

reply

I was too, I started because it was on after Weeds.

reply

Same here, because it was on after Weeds and because I'm a huge Falco fan.

I watched from the beginning and loved the intricacies of the plot and the great acting. I loved it when Thor sang or when O'Hara and Jackie went out for a lunch date or when Zoey was just being Zoey. I've never had a show make me laugh as hard and then throw me into sadness. When Grace started taking drugs my heart broke and every time Jackie relapsed I was angry with her. Whew! I think I'm a little glad it's over! I don't think I'll go back and watch old episodes. I feel like Zoey and need to make a clean break.

Watched it and loved it from the first episode. I'm so sorry to see it end. I'm glad they brought Dr Ohara back for the finale. They even brought God back!! Lol.

Me too, since day one...

I have been a fan since the series premiere. I was sad to see this show end after its 7th season.

I loved the show, especially season 1-4. However it got a bit depressing with season 5, even more so with 6 and season 7 was by far the most depressing one. Personally I would have liked it to have ended with season 4. I'm not saying the last 3 seasons are bad, they're quite good actually but they felt quite different from the first four. It's like The Knicks drug issues and "recovery" is just a very depressing topic, especially if you like the characters on the show.
