he's dark, complex, 3 dimensional, unpredictable and intriguing. I"m not cheering for him to win. i'm cheering to see more of this insane sociopath monster do more and hopefully get all he deserves in the end, a horrible death.

SPOILERS: when he imagined lasering the entire crowd I outloud yelled "NOOOO WAYYYY NOOOO WAYY". you know how hard it is to get me that engaged in a show?

its why complex characters like Snape are beloved while Ginny weasely is boring AF. 2dimensional lazy "good vs evil" with motivations like "im a good character who believes in hope and friendship" and "im a baddie who wants to spread fear and be in control and do bad things!" is sooooo boring

The only members of the 7 who are presented as sympathetic and not total sociopaths are the two females Maeve and Starlight, one who's entire arc seems to revolve around her lesbianism. It's so funny because this show is clearly got a lot of "SJW" elements but the "anti sjw" crowd still embrace the the show solely because of Homelander. This is because alt right types tend to like & admire white male villains/anti hero characters that are murdering psychopaths like The Joker, Patrick Bateman or Travis Bickle. It's what a lot of them fantasize about being themselves.
