Looks promising - The Boys (2019) Discussion

Five episodes in and its nothing whatsoever like Watchmen. For starters, it's really good, so that's a major difference. Also, the story is completely different.

It's from the same creative minds that brought us the "Preacher" TV series, so it's probably a promise of frustration and disappointment.

I'm definitely expecting a frustrating product that devolves into shock content without the weight of good storytelling to make such scenes resonate.
