Not a bad movie except two things really made me mad

1. Young-min (the bad guy) kills Min-jin in the store after she makes all that effort to escape.
2. Joong-ho (the good guy) doesn't kill Young-min at the end.

These two points are very frustrating.

It's refreshing to see a movie where the story doesn't indulge the viewer. For happy endings there's Hollywood.

Explanation for why those two things are necessarily bad in a film as opposed to real life?

The first is cheap; I'll give you that.
