So gather a private army and surround the Vatican

This is the end result, right?

The Vatican holds so many things that are not free to examine and opine over. They are a secretive and very quiet bunch. They even hoard money; the direct antithesis of their teaching.

What we need is a man (or woman) independently wealthy and bold enough to arm a private army to surround the Vatican until they open all the doors for a select group of unbiased, arbitrative scholars in multiple fields of expertise to study all those things they are hiding. Granted, it's a pipe dream, because international denouncation would be quick to follow. Wouldn't it be fun, though, to see exactly who panicked, and why?

Search your mind. I mean, at the base root, what is the reason for the Vatican to withold, even if it is a bunch of texts and artifacts that answer nothing? In the face of question, you erase doubt by playing all your cards, and keeping nothing hidden.

I tend to believe that the shady ones are the ones that can't be trusted. That's just me. I have no problem with religion. Whether Christianity is true or false (at any level, however significant) doesn't change my life, and it shouldn't change yours.

Don't you just want a question answered with undeniable proof? Just one question? Granted, it's a big one. But don't you think the people of the world deserve to know if they are being misled?
