Prefer the 'rough cut'
Yeah, I'm one of those people who got the net-leaked rough cut of the film, but I have to say I prefer it to the official version of the film. There's a lot more stock footage, action, and it feels more like a genuine film - I thought the DVD cut made it all a lot sillier and spoilt the idea that this was a 'real' movie a little. (Aside from the Doctor Wu bit, interestingly, which became slightly more sensible in the official version, but I thought playing randomness to the hilt in that scene was the way to go...)
It could just be me, but I thought the fifteen minutes of cuts was all good stuff they should have kept in the film. The only cool scene put in was the death of Rafelli, but I kinda liked the way he disappeared with no explanation in the early version - yet another characteristic of a dodgy movie.
I suspect the problem is that you have too many paperclips up your nose
