Who is whom? This makes no sense

Okay, I found this on the Amazon channel on my Roku. I realize Amazon owns IMDB. So it is listed on the Roku as, "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - Season 1" and I watched the first two episodes listed as Season 1 Episode 1 "My First Adventure" and Season 1 Episode 2 "Passion for Life" which list these actors:

- Corey Carrier
- Margaret Tyzack
- Ruth De Sosa
- Lloyd Owen
- Kevin McNally
- Rowena Cooper
- Ashley Walters

So the show starts with narration by a young teenager, who indicates that he is "Henry" and his dog is "Indiana"; and "Indiana" is his best friend. (They start off with a toddler Henry and a puppy Indiana in a crib together.) Then the show goes on; and about 3/4 of the way through we have a slightly older "Henry", with a deeper voice (but not the voice of the teen narrator) and the show ends with a freeze-frame of the older "Henry"

So I am confused on these points - Nowhere does it refer to "Henry" as "Indiana" or "Indy" - just the dog. In the ending credits (in the episode/films) it does not list any of the principal players, and in the beginning credits there is no association between actor/character. However, on this IMDB site it lists Neil Boulane as Baby "Indy" and Boutalat as Toddler "Indy" and Corey Carrier as "Henry 'Indiana' Jones, Jr." - So it appears that Corey is indeed the young boy.
However, they list Corey Carrier as being born in 1980, and these two "episodes" (IMDB lists them as TV Movies) "My First Adventure" and "Passion for Life" as being made in 2000. That would make Corey 20-years-old and the kid in these episodes is a little kid. In fact, at the start of Episode 2, "Passion for Life" the kid is back to the younger kid who is in the first 3/4 of Episode 1, not the older kid at the end.

So that's why I am confused. Somebody must have the dates wrong, either when these installments were filmed or the actor's date-of-birth.

What's up with the dog character named Indiana? How does the nickname "Indiana" shift from the dog to the kid?

Please help me and explain.

Thanks!
