did anyone think the bubbling pool at the beginning looked like a hot tub with some lights in it?

I thought they should have done some sort of CG thing where you start by looking at the molten centre of the earth, and it somehow zooms out and you travel backwards through lava and rocks, and the zoom-out ends up with looking at the same hot tub (so at least you get the impression that the hot tub is connected to the centre of the earth - and might look slightly less like a hot tub)
