That would be because you don't understand either term. Neo-conservative does NOT mean "very conservative". It means "new conservative". It referred to right leaning dems who switched over to the GOP during the Regan years.
Fascism has nothing to do with conservatism. Fascism has to do with a rigid non tolerance of opposing views. Has nothing to do with conservatism actually. For example, Pelosi would be considered a Fascist when it comes to global warming.
