What is this?

I thought it might have something to do with Mary Tudor.

Actually, this movie has nothing to do with the historical figures (Mary Tudor - Queen of France, Mary 1 of England, and Mary Tudor - The illegitimate child of Charles 2 of England). The movie is actually a research documentary/movie about resent historical findings of a wrongly accused and executed 16 Y/O Idlewood, Mass. girl named Mary Worth of the practice of witchcraft. The reason why the Idlewood town Minister/townspeople believed that she was working in line with Satin was because she had sexual relations with a man secretly W/O being married first and whenever Idlewood's town Minister's wife noticed signs of pregnancy, she took her to the town minister and asked her to confess who the father of her child was, but she wouldn't. Because she wouldn't confess, the minister accused her of having a "demonic" child whenever it was born and called for her public execution and torture in front of the townspeople at the nearby village of Salem, Mass. It is believed that she was forced to watch herself die in front of a mirror (I do not know as to why her death was carried out this way though). The newborn child was also executed alongside the mother! The movie is supposedly scheduled for a Sep. 2008 release on DVD. I hope that answered your question.

Your history is for the birds....the original Mary Tudor was the daughter of Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon, the Spanish Infanta and widow of Henry's older brother Prince Arthur.....she could not have been Charles II's 'illegitimate daughter' for the simple reason that Charles was a Stuart...not a Tudor...aside from the fact that Charles II reigned from 1662 till 1685....more than 100 years after they heyday of Mary Tudor

So, we are in fact talking about a fiendish textile worker here? Did she work in line with other materials beside satin? Wool, silk, linen, that sort of thing? ;-)
