One question. How on earth does this sort or rubbish ever get the go ahead for production? Absolutely awful, not a single redeeming feature about this. This and Birthrite are now tied for my worst ever movie title. Again, had to watch it all as i couldnt quite believe what i was seeing.

shareWow relax, you sound like a disgruntled filmmaker that can't get your own movie made. It's just a movie. Plus I noticed that it's not out til next month, did you watch a pirated version?! Be careful those sites imbed things onto your computer when you download the movies.

No I said embed things into your computer not movie. Yes my friend, things do get attached to your computer without you even knowing it and yes you can get them from those sites. And yes once again people do click on .exe .scr etc...I know I am one of those guys that has to fix everyone's garbage on their computers because of downloads like that. I'm not saying all but I would say about 50% and it will take alittle time before you even start noticing it. Hey, I am just providing a little knowledge from thousands that I have seen.
shareErm what sites? Anyone with half a clue won't use any "site" to get downloads, they also won't use P2P, bittorrent or anything else trackable. Not hard to download anonymously if you try....
shareYou have no idea what you're talking about. I work with computers professionally and I've been using torrents for seven years without one single problem. You can't get "things embedded" on your computer from playing any type of AVI file.

Whilst I do not agree with the original poster in any way. It is possible for certain types of media files to cause a script to run. Mainly those that require a digital signature. This may link to an unsafe site which may try to run a script which may not be safe. This does happen, and because its Windows Media player saying "trust content from ....." many people will just click yes.
But seriously all in all you have to be a total idiot to get malware from downloading stuff.
Yes, it is possible but just like you said.. you have to be a total idiot to follow these unsafe sites or download fake torrents. And if you were a good computer user, the possibility of getting infected with spyware would be 1/1000 because you would have enough knowledge about this malware/spyware stuff.

Who on earth would infect the worst movie ever made? If you would infect something it would be something remotely watchable.
To be honest if the film DID conatin virus at least then it would have something, now it just the worst movie ever made in history of mankind.
warriorx-1 didn't say the movie infects once its on your computer or when you play it. he said the download SITES and yes some of them do try to install crap on your computer.
You just have to be careful and if google says this site will harm your computer then don't go. And make sure you have restore points.
if you want to be safer just join forums so you don't have to go around looking at iffy sites that come up in search 95% of the time.
