I agree. I hate to say it, but I even feel that they started to jump the shark with "Rocks The 80s".

It was a good concept, but they pretty much did nothing but change the characters costumes and the COLORS of the menus and stuff. And besides that, they didn't even have half the songs the other GH games do, yet they charged the same price!

If anything, they could of AT LEAST picked a better band for doing something like this. AC/DC, Metallica, Led Zeppelin anyone? Aerosmith isn't even all that great IMO

I like Aerosmith, but they definitely don't deserve their own GH game. They could've chosen a more deserving band such as Maiden, Metallica etc. On a scale of one to ten, Aerosmath are only a 6.5.

and anyway i think its a good idea for a game, butthe price is way too high

I think that if they had gotten a band like Led Zeppelin to do this, it would work out well, but it doesn't work out that great with Aerosmith. A lot of their hits don't really fit in, and some of their songs have already been in Guitar Hero(and Rock Band too). OK, so you have a blast doing Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Dream On, Train Kept A Rollin', but then what?. Seems like there's going to be way too much filler in this one.

This wouldve worked better if they just put a bunch of their songs across 2 or 3 expansion packs

Aerosmith is better than Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, or Metallica. Even though it is kinda sell out, it will still be great.

Aerosmith aren't even THAT good, IMO. Maiden? They have a WHOLE list of songs WAITING to be put into one GH game. Aerosmith suck complete balls live too, I have heard some bootleg and they are awful.

This is gonna be "GH: Rocks the 80's" all over again...

Iron Maiden has some cool stuff but will never be better than Guns N' Roses, Metallica, or Van Halen. Slash, Kirk Hammett, and Eddie Van Halen can play better left handed then Dave Murray

Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands but not the greatest band of all time. I'm actually a huge Aerosmith fan, but I didn't see the need for this game. I didn't want to spend a ton of cash on it, so I rented it. I played a little last night and I'm on the 3rd section. zachman96, you bring up some pretty good bands, but I don't think Guns N' Roses or Metallica would warrant a Guitar Hero game to themselves. You have to be a metal head to enjoy 25 Metallica songs. Guns N' Roses really has only about 10-13 great songs. Van Halen, you could make a game similar to this based on them.

I didn't like it either. The only song on it that I actually enjoyed playing was "I Hate Myself For Loving You" by Joan Jett.
