The Skin I live in vs. Talk to Her (Hable con Ella)

I haven't seen plenty of PA's films, and I am now trying to see more of his 'classics', but Hable con Ella is one film that I really liked, and I just watched The Skin.. yesterday, so I am now (and during watching) finding some parallels between both films.
First, visually, the naked female body filling the whole screen (and both, often on a hospital bed), the nurse (and here the surgeon) paying careful attention to the patient's body, rape, and losing one's life as a result of his fascination (I'm looking for a better word- sorry English is my second language) with women... or.. the c\/nt.. Vagina!! which is shown in Hable in that short B&W film, where the tiny man gets lost inside the vagina of his lover, and here, the vagina plays a great role, when Vincent gets one, and is hence a woman. Both Vincent and Robert lose their lives for that new Vagina!
Also, how Vincent is shown in a way effeminate (something many people will argue and disagree about), and how the character in Hable (the nurse) also looks a bit effeminate, or is at least regarded as gay by other characters in the film. Then they both commit rape (the rape in this movie here is different, and not a clear cut rape, nor really intended)

Anyway, these are just some first observations upon watching The Skin, and recalling scenes and elements from Hable. I have yet to watch other Almodovar's films, in order to create a better and fuller picture of his vocabulary and ideas.
The mother, and the change of sex are other elements of course, but these are the films I am yet to watch.
Anyone has something to contribute to these observations?
