One scene that kinda befuddled me..

Just finished watching this fantastic film but there was a peculiar moment in the film that confused me a bit. During Vincent's kidnapping, at some point he is thrown over his bike and he starts cursing at the guy driving the Jeep. Moments later the driver exits the vehicle pointing a gun towards Vincent.

I am not sure if the driver is supposed to be a different person, in the film, but he looks eerily like Banderas wearing a skin mask over his actual face. Is he actually another actor? Maybe, Robert put on some sort of makeup to look different as to avoid being recognized, and if yes why so? No one would see him other than Vincent. Maybe even, it's some sort of allegory from Almodovar about Robert transforming into a different person at that moment (since we get to see his descent into paranoia from that point on)?

To me it was made very clear that it was Robert wearing a mask he'd made using his expertise. It looked like Banderas too much to be another character.
