Who is Marco Borsato?
Ok I am then well a Nederlander but I never knew Marco Borsato, now that I do, I understand he is as Dutch as Dutch can be.

sharemarco borsato, is a dutch singer and he acted in this film as well, am not dutch but i live in Holland for two years now and i love his songs so much, try to write his name and listen to his songs in youtube.
shareActually he's Italian-Dutch as you could guess from his name. I remember him being plugged by Paul de Leeuw in his late '80s VARA radio programme before he was famous and when he was still singing in Italian (this was many years before the hitsingle "Dromen zijn bedrog" was released). In the late '80s there was sort of an Italian music craze in The Netherlands with artists like Eros Ramazotti, Matia Bazar, Paolo Conte, Zucchero Fornaciari and Umberto Tozzi & Raf scoring hits. Borsato didn't manage to capitalize on that fad yet 6-7 years later he became a big star when he released his Dutch language album.
