anything is possible in johar movies

reply

Johar the Jerk

reply

It is in fact possible. It's called blunt trauma and as depicted in the movie, could cause ruptured organs (e.g. spleen) or internal bleeding.

The boy hit several times and then got hit by the ball.. Did ya see the movie dude?

reply

I KNOW LMAO i burst out laughing, he was killed by a soccer ball HAHAHAHAHHAHAH..
i hated the kid anyway :o)

reply

It's a bit silly, but it's not unbelievable. He was a samll built kid and they punched him several times. Of done hard enough, like others have said- they could have ruptured a vital organ.

I was so pissed off when they killed the boy. It was so...depressing. I guess I shouldn't expect a happy ending, but still...

The only answer I can think is protecting the felons. You can't do that under our law.

Entirely agree. It was insulting to say the least.

You need to stay in school. I know someone whose cheekbone was shattered by a beach ball. If something is thrown hard enough and at a far enough distance, it can really mess you up.

There is nothing funny about death. Nothing.

Kid had enough energy to get up and say screw you twice. First off the kid who kicked the soccer ball doesn't even play soccer. Sure a pro soccer player hitting a soccerball to the kid's head may kill him, but seriously to the torso. I say screw you, SCREW YOU. This movie sucks donkey b4llz. And the entire movie was HILARIOUS!

You are a deeply racist and closeminded person. I am sure many of your countrymen are cringing reading your posts, not as much for their lack of feeling as their lack of intelligence or rational thought.

If you have any friends more literate than yourself, you can perhaps ask one of them to Google the words cardiac concussion, chest and sports. You will find dozens upon dozens of articles like this one -
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04174/335459-114.stm
(quotes are below for those who are interested).

I feel your bile and invective to be due to your fear of the unknown. As this country, which once was vaunted as the cradle of diversity, becomes more and more insular, this kind of hysteria becomes more common.

This is exactly how people in Germany and other European countries reacted to the Depression - by looking for a scapegoat to blame for their problems. The Nazis found them one. It pains me that the loss of 17 million souls from the world brings you no closer to understanding, as those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it.

It is not surprising to me how many who posted to this thread are uncomfortable with the way Americans are portrayed in this film. To you, any blow you strike at what you fear, justified or not, must always be portrayed in the light which rationalizes your behavior.

I know by now you have doubtless moved on to more aesthetic American film fare such as 'Dude, Where's My Car', a slasher film or sophomoric gross comedy fest.

But you should understand what hate crime looks like to those who are victimized, even when it is being committed by people who to you look angelic simply because of their blondness and blue eyes.

From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette -
"A youth league baseball player is hit in the chest with a pitch and is awarded first base, right?

Most of the time.

But, sadly, every once in a while, the player drops to the ground and, without timely emergency intervention, dies. According to the National Athletic Trainers Association, there have been more than 130 such athlete deaths in the nation -- most of them in baseball -- reported since 1998.

The cause is a little-known medical event called commotio cordis, or cardiac concussion. It occurs when an athlete suffers a blow to the chest in a specific time between beats of the heart. The organ goes into ventricular fibrillation, or some other irregular heart rhythm, and then cardiac arrest. Though it occurs most often in baseball, it also has been reported in softball, ice hockey, lacrosse, boxing and fights, and in vehicular accidents.

Its victims are primarily children and teens, though adults are not immune.

"We feel children between the ages of 4 and 16 are more susceptible because the sternum is more pliable at that time," said Keith M. Gorse of Shaler, clinical coordinator and instructor for Duquesne University's undergraduate program in athletic training, who is leading NATA in a national effort to educate coaches and trainers about the injury, its prevention and emergency response"

OK so if you saw 4 (or 5?) sports guys kicking and punch a kid several times, then drop a tiny pebble on him - YOU will think he died from the pebble, right?
A single punch can kill, maybe you've watched too many films.
