Well Made Slasher Films

I just watched CP and CPII within a few days of each other. These are well-made films in the genre. I watch a good deal of horror (and have seen hundreds of foreign films in general) and I always think that the horror genre is easier in concept than it is in delivery. That is, very few films are well-made, regardless of how great a concept it actually might be.

A lot of people come to these boards and their biggest complaint is regarding predictability, ie., it was obvious which victim was next. You can say what you want about the predictability of the films. We all know what the slasher film is going to be like, so there's bound to be some predictability involved. I didn't find them all that predictable given the predictability factor. Just really well-made -- better than much current US horror in fact. I can't wait to figure out how to get my hands on a copy of CPIII.
