Cold Prey 2 Finally Coming to the U.S.

On April 23rd, Shout! Factory will unleash Norwegian blockbuster thriller hit Cold Prey II DVD on home entertainment shelves everywhere.

Starring popular international actress Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) and directed by Mats Stenberg, the sequel continues the tension from the original smash hit Cold Prey.

This is the first time this title is being made available in the U.S.

During the winter in 2006 four youth faced a brutal death in the Norwergian mountains of Jotunheimen. Only one woman named survived. Frozen and weak, Jannicke is brought to the local hospital, along with the body of the vicious mountain man whom she’d killed. But when she wakes up in the hospital, the building is dark and deserted…and she soon realizes that her nightmare is not yet over.

Do you know if it's dubbed in english or just subtitled.I'm hoping dubbed.i get a headache jerking my eyes back and forth between the text on the bottom of the screen and the movie.

I watched it and thought to myself how can I not rate this movie a 10 ? The last few movies I have watched I put in my folder/category of "Watched but not rated yet" and I did the same with this movie but really where can you find fault with this action thriller ? I guess the only thing you could say is how is it possible that at the end of this movie the women don't make sure the killer can ever come back by smashing in his entire body and burning him alive ? I guess then only a 9 is in order for this movie ?

Anyway strong acting by all made for a very good movie.

A third film was released in Norway over 4 years ago, but it was a prequel, not even nearly as good as the two first films.

Looking at how Cold Prey 2 ended, I think it's safe to say that a third sequel will not be made any time soon.
It'd also be kind of silly.. I mean.. How in the world would they explain the murderer surviving a shotgun shell to the face? You catch my drift?

TheRapDude that is a good point and I know Alien 3 was sci-fi when Ripley came back after she killed her self as she was cloned! in this case they could say last bit was a dream she was having or something

I don't know. I'm not sure if that story would quite fit, especially if they're trying to make this realistic. What they could do though is make the girl the killer. They can say that the events left her so mentally unstable that a monster unleashed inside of her, making her a killer.... Or not.. Anyways, there's many ways they could approach a third sequel when it comes to the story.

Yea I'm sure they will think of something in the writers room, there are many things they can do with Sci-fi or Horror/Thriller films-TV shows.so I'll guess we will have to wait and see but I also like your theory
