In episode 1, how come Denis Lawson (DCI Faber) was on the scene of the stabbing so soon? He appeared with a uniformed PC within minutes before even the paramedics. Before it was definitely established that there had been foul play, even. And how did he get into the house?!

James, just suspend belief! I suppose because it was a top QC and they heard it on the radio perhaps, were tipped off, oh I don't know.
shareI can accept a bit of dramatic licence but I found it absurd. Even if they did know the incident involved a top QC so quickly (which I doubt), Faber must have been in the vicinity because he arrived within minutes, before the paramedics.
