No exit signs on the ship?

I liked the premise of the film but since not one crew member knew they were underwater, How come they didn't at least search for a exit door off the ship?

Power was out and as shown they couldn't open the doors. Plus why would they try to open that door into space? Bower kinda noticed that they were. Did you notice the hints that they were underwater?

Can't remember the water dropping scene.. At what point of the movie was that ?

reply

In the middle of the movie. Right before they enter the lab.

I don't believe that was a hint that they were underwater. If there were thousands of people on the ship then it had to have had water (the building block of life) on it for them to survive. While watching it I assumed it was simply water already on the ship.

Not to mention, if water was leaking into the ship then you have to assume it would have filled up or even caved in from pressure after than lengthy trip.

Maybe they did; but what good would that have done without finding protective spacesuits first?

The movie has a plot hole?!?

Because they were disorientated , had pandorum , then quickly eaten.
Plus space ships have very few "exits"

Exit signs on a space ship? That makes no sense.

reply

So they could float away into the vacuum of space? What are you talking about?
