PANDORUM SEQUEL!!!!!

Anyone who enjoyed the first one and would love to see a sequel their is a Facebook page called "500,000 Followers for a Padorum sequel" and it unfortunately currently only has just over 3000 followers including the director himself and before anybody stops reading here and dismisses this as *beep* it's worked for other movies in the past like Riddick and more recently the Dredd movie so please just follow the page and let other fans know out there.

found it. it is a GROUP to JOIN

I joined that group about 2 years ago, and it surprises me the low number of followers. :(

I want a sequel. This film is awesome.

With District 9 is my favorite sci-fi since the last 10 years.

Yea district 9 was good and sphere even if the dialogue in sphere was a bit corny at times wouldn't mind seeing a remake of that

reply

Yea district 9 and sphere were great films as well wouldn't mind seeing a remake of sphere though I think it could be done better

reply

The film was little known. So it makes sense if the the group was well.

I dunno it's kinda become a little cult classic I just don't think a lot of people know about the group I only found out a year ago

I'd like a sequel only if it has the story and substance that the first one did. Pandorum is one of the best sci-fi horrors of the past 10 years, I wouldn't want its legacy ruined by just another shameless cash-in sequel.

I'd be hopeful just because it was written as a trilogy. Often, when an idea is very well developed, there is so much material, a writer can set up a trilogy and those are usually excellent stories. It's the films where they wrote only one film and are completely caught off guard, so they decide to quickly come up with sequel ideas and that's when you get crap.

Then again, once in a while, there is an idea that might be good where the writers have a vague idea for a trilogy, but they never really give it too much thought until the original becomes a hit, like The Matrix. Then they start trying to flesh out the sequels and realize they don't have quite as much material as they believed, and that's when you get tM: Reloaded and tM: Revolutions.

At the very least, I hope the Pandorum sequels get released as novels or scripts or even comic books.

I agree. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. Very scary. Very underrated ... Hope to see a sequel.

Sucks it's on facebook; sure there's gotta be another way to show support for Pandorum and a sequel.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to see this, maybe too many films and not enough time to watch something with mediocre ratings. You've let me down yet again, IMDB, and this is the last time I pay any attention to the ratings. Loved the film and sincerely hope there's at least one sequel ...soon.

Never listen to the ratings you see. People rating films see what it's rated and then give it a way higher or lower score then they would normally because they think it's too high or low. Say they are gonna give it a 5. Then they see it's got a 7.0 so they give it a 1 too take it down more where they think it should be.

People are flawed and it shows easily

Looks like it didn't make any money. That's a big nono in Tinsel town. ..

A sequel would be interesting.
