My biggest issue with this movie

Honestly I love the message of this movie and the acting was great. But one thing I thought was handled wrongly is the character Chauter aka Silencer. First of all, the guy was shown as a foreigner and he is alienated amongst the students. Then he looks for recognition with his antics which is ridiculed by the main cast. Finally when they pulled their prank with the speech, I think they crossed the line.

Rancho blamed the system and the Dean for Joy's suicide. He believed it was the pressure that makes students suicide. He forgets the stats about students suiciding over ragging and abuse. What would he have done if Chauter who couldn't handle the embarassment and public ridicule killed himself? He was using another person's public embarassment to teach his friend a lesson. How was that not personal? Chauter had his own insecurities that he had to deal with. Rancho could have been the cause of his death if Chauter had killed himself after that night.

I think that's what stands out because Rancho's message get tainted by his actions in that. He may have good ideas but he shouldn't be using another person's humiliation for his own message.

They should have handled that differently in my opinion.
