awesome costumes and fight scene at the end!! + references

this is not one of my fave movies, but i'm still buying it. first off, the costumes were beautiful!! some of the best i've seen in any such period piece. also, it is a great movie to watch with other people who like the genre. my anime club enjoyed it very much, especially that fight scene at the end (why i'm getting it). i mean WOW!! Donnie Yen was bada**, once again (Iron Monkey anyone?).

also, did anyone else notice references to other films. probably not done on purpose, but we pointed out some to star wars(ewoks), lord of the rings(fight scene), and titanic(music). just throwing those out there.

overall. great movie.
