Going in I didn't think that I'd like Prey as much as I did. But it was really good with a terrifying Predator and a bunch of excellent fight scenes and brutal kills. The lead actress was really good as well and the way that she eventually took down the Predator was very smart.. Definitely check this flick out if you haven't seen it yet.
shareI really liked it as well. It was really smart centering this around a Native American tribe, because EVERYONE likes stories and movies about Native American culture. And the cinematography of 1700’s America = beautiful.
The story was compelling, and some scenes in particular (like how the chases through the tall grass were filmed) were brilliant. All in all, a very solid movie.
I wish they went full Northman and dived deep into the culture.
As it was, there was almost nothing and most young actors looked and moved like 21st century college students.

People disregard art and focus on skin color and\or shape of genitalia.
But anyway, the only reason I brought up The Northman was because when they first announced Prey, I was really hoping for more focus on tribal culture and lore. Personally I wanted to see raw and realistic life of the North American natives. What we got was a bit like a glamor magazine version.
