1. When bear try to attack the protagonist, she eagerly try to fix bow. What? It's bear! What a bow can do to bear? Why waste time to fix it? Go climb a tree!
2. When laser target on someone, the protagonist saw it, and yell "we are the target!" What? Why waste time to yell? Why not just pull him down right away?
1. First, bears can climb trees. And they are much faster than people. She isn't likely to hurt the bear with an arrow, but she could get lucky.
2. That is human nature. She is also imparting information. Granted, the young man (SPOILER) doesn't live long, but her intent is for him to understand what the lights mean. She was also pulling him down at the same time she was shouting. She didn't wait until after she finished her sentence to pull him down.
So, neither are dumb things.

IRL people do dumb things every day, I can't fault characters for that unless it's out of established character. She had a tendency to be a little careless so I can see it.
What's dumb is if she can pull herself out of the quicksand so easily, she can swim out. IRL it's mucky at the bottom, you sink in and it is nearly impossible to get out. Sometimes they have to flood the quicksand with a water hose to loosen the mud. There are stories of people being pulled in half by helicopters trying to rescue them from mudflats.
