I mean it is possible. But being blatant about it back then was not conducive to one of the most manly movies ever made. Back then we're just supposed to think that they were bros. In today's society, thinking that they may have been in a relationship would be a more acceptable thing these days. But if they were more than just friends, I wouldn't call the way they were portrayed as woke whatsoever. Woke is when the diversity quotas get forced down your throat. Like with this new movie.
