i have never read the comics and i got everything that was going on. cause
if your a fan of Anime then you will be able to fallow the plot with ease.
not to mention you will constantly be saying "that was bad ass" and adore the visuals. its a great foreign action movie with a simple Good vs Evil story.
and the ending is awesome

i don't get why people are talking down this movie so much. i understand it only if your a fan of the comic and it didn't fallow its roots (because I'm the same with the X-Men movies) but if you just watched this movie knowing nothing about its base material then i think you need to enjoy your self a little more and just have fun staring at all the sweet *beep* that happens.

It sure was pretty. It was exactly what I expected after having watched the first movie, all looks and only the simplest of stories.

If you watched the first movie then you'll at least know the personalities for the characters of Wind and Cloud but in this sequel they show no characteristics of who they are and the whole movie was just random CGI effects. It's almost as bad as Family Guy.
If you are familiar with the comic you'll be really jaw dropping with the lack of soul of the movie. How the Pang brothers were able to adapt the most emotional and exciting story arc of Storm Riders into a dull and boring 30mins or random fight scenes is beyond my imagination.
My mom isn't familiar with the comics and isn't too critical with movies (usually it's just either she enjoys it or boring) actually gave this movie an "awful" rating.

1/10 this movie ruined my day.
the first one was great, this one was just a bore.

absolutely non-sensical, *beep* this movie. I had a great day until I watched this trash. No soul. All random action scenes and they weren't even that great.

terrible story, long and boring.

Agreed. For an almost 2 hour movie, the "story", if written down, would barely cover a cigarette paper. 🐭
