Does this show have am ending?

I just saw this show on Hulu and loved the first episode, but before I get into it can anyone till me if it has a real ending or not? I hate watching series that end in a cliffhanger makes me feel like I wasted my time.

The first season (a three-part story) has a definite conclusion.
The second season (another three-part story) also has a definite conclusion, but with a few plot threads left hanging.
The third season consists of three separate two-part stories, all of which have definite conclusions.
The fourth and final season also consists of three separate two-part stories, but with various sub-plots running throughout the entire season. All the individual stories have definite conclusions, but the final story leaves several of the continuing plot threads hanging.

Would say it's still worth the watch?

Definitely.

You, my friend, were blessed with the gift of clarity -- something all too rare on these message boards where a question like the one asked by the original poster is usually answered in THIS fashion (exaggerated --- slightly -- for effect):

"First season end s but others are more free flowing and some defintky end but others do not season s 3 and 4 have endings with two partners that end but subplots continue."

Drives me crazy.

We need a million more posters like you.

I just finished it and incase anyone else was wondering the answer is no.

Why do you say no? The response from misbegotten has been accurate? I still need to watch the last two episodes of season 4, but even if these last two leave me hanging all the other stories were concluded.

For some reason the show got axed. The plot threads continue giving the impression of something left unsaid.
