Am a Wiltshire lass and am thrilled this version was filmed in the west country. Dorset- where the book was set.

reply

Nope. Scotswoman, partly of Yorkshire extraction.

reply

Yes, i'm from Devon.

reply

Yep, from Somerset.

reply

Nope, not now. I'm Canadian, born and raised. I have British ancestry on the paternal side - my grandfather's family originally came from Lincolnshire, while my grandmother has Irish/Scottish roots. But no West Country roots that I am aware of, darn.

Were you one of the regulars on the TGC board a year and a half ago?

I remember your id, I've since changed mine; I was one of the first on that board; we had a nice old gang there, remember? But growing disillusioned by the pusillanimous adaptation of the book, I decided to leave.
