In episode one - Hymn sung in church not yet written

The hymn 'How Great Thou Art' was sung in the church in episode one of the 2008 mini series, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, but was not available in the mid to late 1800s, the time period of the story. The original poem 'O Store Gud', was written by Swedish poet Boberg in the 1800s but was not translated into English or written into the well known hymn it is today until the 1920s. Stuart K. Hine translated the Swedish poem into English and re-vised the words to fit the tune it is sung to today. His words and tune were first copyrighted in 1949.
