Horrible movie. Inappropriate + bigoted references

hollywood has a long history of juxtaposing cultural/religious references with the most negative, misleading and simply out of place themes.

they've done an excellent job of this with their horrid portrayls of native americans, east-asians, and more recently arabs.

early on in the film, there is some audio from the muslim call to prayer, including some muslim scriptural verses playing as the killer's 'theme music.'

can the makers of the movie be any more stupid?

nevertheless, i gave the film a chance and after 20-30 minutes, it became obvious that the film is going to be really, really bad.

Sure.. films can have "arab baddies"... but this film in particular uses the call to prayer of 1.82 billion people of the Earth.. when it has simply no relevence to the plot whatsoever.

For subliminal racism, look no further than the prologue of the "Dawn of the Dead" remake (a decent film in itself). Amid visions of carnage and destruction, you see ten seconds of muslims quietly praying. Not doing anything remotely threatening : praying.
This is worthy of Nazi Germany propaganda against Jews. But since muslims are "like, un-kewl, dude. Whatever", no one utters a peep.
After all, you have to prepare youngsters to go die in another war so that the militaro-industrial complex can reap more money, right ?

Who cares? This isn't bigoted or offensive at all.
Granted, most americans are morons who are disrespectful to your culture left and right, but this? Not so much.
