Why was Beth offended when adam asked her is she was sexually attracted?

Why was she offended?

He didn't ask her if she was sexually attracted, he asked if she was sexually turned on at the park. And I don't see why thats so bad, she hasn't known him that long and he had asked her a very personal question.

He meant did she want to have sex when they were in the park, basically.

I don't know about offended but it was certainly strangely delivered and inappropriate. It's not as if he was flirting with her and asking if it turned her on. He put it across in a very clinical, detached way. I think I'd be a little taken aback too if I was Beth.

he actually asks if she was sexually excited.. i think she was more creeped out than offended which is totally understandable since she was alone with this man in his apartment and she barely knew him up to that point
