Just re-watched

this movie yesterday and upon visiting this forum saw the word "aspie" mentioned several times on the 1st page.

I can't with this any more. Enough is enough!

If a person describes himself as an aspie, they almost definitely do not have asperger's, ok? I don't know what they have, but it is not asperger's. May be some condition where a person is shy and prefers to spend all his time online discussing themselves... may be they are just weird and self-diagnosed with one of those dumb online questionnaires. But they do not have Asperger's.

A person with Asperger's wouldn't use that word. Like I can write it, it feels very bad, but I can, but there is no way I could actually say that word out loud. I am just as likely to paint my walls pink and wear Hello Kitty accessories.

This has always bothered me. I hate that word. I hate it. It is about as un-aspergerish as can be. As soon as I see someone declaring themselves to be an "aspie" I want to smack them over the head.

I am an Aspie, and I would say you're wrong.
But does that make you wrong, or me wrong?

I also refer to everyone who isn't an aspie as a neurotypical.
I guess that makes me not an aspie though.....
Oh have you heard of aspie alligator?
Google it.
