Is this even worth watching?
I know people have said the show is good, but this is the only Star Wars movie I haven't seen.
shareI know people have said the show is good, but this is the only Star Wars movie I haven't seen.
shareYes. I've been watching the whole thing on and off after the last few months, and should be able to finish it soon as I've broken my leg and will be home for a while.
It's a good show on the surface, with a lot of interesting serial plots, spectacular visuals, and action. Underneath that is some really amazing world-building and expansion of the Star Wars universe, every Star Wars fan ought to see it at least once. It hasn't delved deep into Anakin's character and fall, at least not yet, but I've still got a few seasons to go.
I think the OP is specifically referring to the Clone Wars movie, not the series. Overall I thought the series was a lot stronger than the initial movie. But it was fun to watch in theaters. The first theatrical Star Wars since the prequel trilogy.
shareI thought the "movie" was just an extra-long special episode, opening the series?
shareWell the movie actually did play in theaters. And the series has its own page on IMDB and Moviechat, separate from this one that we are in right now.
shareI know there was a theatrical film as well as the series, you know, the one where the main villain was the Hutt that sounded like Truman Capote?
Yeah, that was fun, but then... I'm probably the only human in the world who is both a Star Wars fan and familiar with Truman Capote.
Yes, it's essential viewing for the prequel trilogy to make any semblance of sense, especially when it comes to the characters.
