Just curious as to why Fox did not produce this?

I mean they held the distribution rights to ALL other movies b4 this, which of course was long b4 the Disney purchase, just curious as to why Warner came in all of a sudden when Fox had their saturday morning cartoon block for the original CW tv series.

Btw its Warner Bros that owns it NOT Paramount! But I mean Fox around that time had their Saturday morning cartoon block where they coulda aired the show (but then again it was going to end that year. Perhaps that could be it?)
