You would mean "Jewish propaganda" and no it is not.

It's about PTSD and also a look at an event which most Jews are not proud of, in this case an operation of ethnic cleansing for which Tsahal was a direct accomplish (and the Jews, of all people, should know better).

This is not propaganda because it is about his personal experience and memory. He went from being a victim of genocide in the holocaust (his family) to becoming a passive Nazi himself.

It is a sign of every well-made and relatively balanced movie or series that both sides of the political spectrum tend to bash it. That goes for Generation Kill, it goes for The Hurt Locker and it most certainly goes for Waltz With Bashir...

For the ultra-right hawks it's a pacifistic piece of armybashing, for the leftist hippies it's the exact opposite.

It is most certainly not "Jew propganda". In fact, I find the mere title of your post offensive and ignorant. Like others have said before me on this thread, the filmmaker's point was not to glorify Israel's war with Lebannon, or Israel itself, rather to show the brutality and horrors of war and how it can affect the individuals that are caught up in it. He even makes a point of comparing Israel's behavior in the war to that of the Nazi's, in that the Israeli's, either by indifference or lack of action, allowed a massacre to happen on their watch, and that the massacre was most certainly NOT a righteous action.

sluggo66 called you racist because you claimed Nazis were good guys in another thread. Perhaps your statement was in jest and the sarcasm was lost on the net. Either way, you said it.

As for Waltz With Bashir, no it's not a propaganda film to promote the Israeli/Jewish cause. That is very clear. Perhaps you should watch or re-watch the film or state why you believe it's a propaganda film and other posters can better address your question.

I dont see how the movie is aimed at supporting jews or Israel in any way. On the contrary, it explains acts of brutality performed by Israeli army.

So... I think you are confused, or don't understand very well the movie; ...or have been exposed to anti-jewish propaganda so much that any israeli movie concerning israeli acts of war, you'll inmediatly rate is as "jewish propaganda".

This movie depicts Palestinian refugees being massacred, with Israel being one of the parties responsible for such a terrible act...wouldn't call it propaganda, no.
