Why isn't this labelled 'documentary'?

First of all, I would like to say..it's a great movie~. But I wasn't actually expecting a documentary...Usually IMDB labels documentaries, but here it only labels it as Animation | Biography | Drama | War??
Does this also mean that it is qualified to be in the top 250? ...Correct me if im wrong, I remember that at some point, this WAS actually in the top 250..

March 10, 2012 edit: Oh wow...just realized the documentary label was added..lol~ and I confirmed that this was really on the top 250 for a few months...

And now the documentary label was removed again. No idea why.

Language! The thing that means stuff.

I think it works either way as a movie where a protagonist tries to find an answer and also as a documentary.
With this film the line of movie and documentary is very blurred.

But the protagonist IS the filmmaker so this is a documentary. We watched this in a documentary film studies class and even though the film may appear to be fiction, it's classified as a documentary because the personal testimonies from the subjects in the film were actual interviews conducted by the filmmaker/protagonist. It just looks like a fiction movie I think a lot due to the fact that everything is animated up til the last bit. This should be categorized as a documentary, not drama, and it shouldn't be in the top 250 or top 1000 because it's not fiction.
