The interview with Brian Wilson

Does anyone know when it was filmed? I'm thinking maybe the late 90s? Hard to say though - the other interviews in the film seem to span a wide range of time. The Cher interview, for example, may even have been from the 80s, she looked quite young.

It was wonderful to see Brian so relaxed and cogent, speaking warmly and eloquently about his old colleagues. He's far more at ease in this interview than any I've seen with him in almost 40 years.

This is complete speculation, but the interview with Brian appears to be from the late '90s or early 2000s. He's always best when he's talking about music, and nothing else in his life seems to matter when he focuses on that.

It appears most of the other interviews in this film are more recent, though it took years to get this film made so it's hard to tell. But I loved every word, and more than that, I loved every note.

Denny Tedesco started work on the film in 1996.
