If you want a true depiction of what actually happened, order the documentary "Lili'uokalani -- Hawaii's Last Queen" ..SCANDALOUS!! And unlike this cra-p-of-a-film and boring actress, you'll find it quite interesting as well as shcoking. It may make you puke when you see how they purposely spread VD amongst the women & raped children ..then took 2000 men & boys on a ship promising them good jobs in America. and promising their families to return w/ them. Not one returned when the ship came back in less then a month. All were dumped at sea. Everything they did (and some), was to wipe out the hawaiian race b/c the great grandchildren of the missionaries natives once embraced (upon first arriving to the islands), thought the natives had negroid features. It gets worse. Also my tutu (great granny) lost her land b/c of the take over.
