little offensive towards autism?

My brother has autism, asperga syndrome, and he was quite offended by the portrayal in this movie. I know there are people out there, like kenneth (thank god I don't know any). But my brother was bothered by how exaggerated the guy was and weird for someone with what the filmmaker said was autism, and my brother isn't like that, diagnosed at 13 by bro is 16 now...rather talkative and smart.

I explained to him there are different spectrums to autism, the severe and the less. My brother simply said 'How come the bad guys turn out to be the ones with the autism, I like to watch an autistic hero.'

I think there is a film out there that does just that, can anybody name any?

Captain Jack:. ‘....Savy’

Tell him it is just a movie and he should really grow a pair and quit being a whiny baby

Considering Kenneth doesn't display any asperger tendencies that's quite a stretch. My son, diagnosed with the syndrome, didn't have a problem with the character in the least.

Take a cup of cement and if overtly PC persists see a Doctor.

in Mercury Rising, there is a little boy with severe autism. he cracks a government supercode and Bruce Willis has to protect him when the bad guys come after the little boy. not exactly a hero, but not a villain, either.

What did Forrest Gump have?

"Temple Grandin" is great, and it's a true story.

Autism was the least of Kenneth's problems. He was autistic like Buffalo Bill was gay...
