Sure, it's a trite family film, like most ABC Family Channel made for TV movies. But the story was cool, the special effects really kicked this film up a few notches...

I have to agree. I was in a hurry and grabbed it thinking it might be a time-travel story or a horror. At first, I feared the worst, thinking it was going to be a total turkey. Then suddenly a few minutes elapsed and began to find it whimsically silly in a very English sort of way and enjoyed it. The climax was actually quite a scare after all the laughs.
shareIt is unusual. I don't usually like effects. But the flying skull that Humphrey called Barbecue Head was good. I liked the ghosts playing charades scene.
