How to watch?

This is a prequel, correct? So should I watch this first then watch the 2009 version thereafter?

It's better to watch Orphan (2009) first and then this one. Although, you could do it in reverse order.

So one movie won't ruin the other? Are they standalone? Seems weird how you can reverse order watch it. D:

I think both of them can work as standalone or together. Both are entertaining in their own way.
