FRANK, for a Marley family-condoned film!

I was surprised about how frank this film was for being family-endorsed and condoned. Cindy Breakspeare and other Marely "baby-mamas" were interviewed in this movie alongside Bob's wife, Rita who admitted envy of Marley's other women. Wow

Yes, this is one of my issues with the film. Why focus on an aspect of Marley's life that was so common and mundane? The man had an extraordinary experience, yet significant time was dedicated to his philandering without even giving it context. Bob Marley was not unlike many, young, successful, handsome men when it came to the women he had affairs with. At this point, who doesn't know that Bob Marley had children with multiple women. As I said in my previous post, the filmmaker could have focused more on what made Bob and his music/message what it was like his Rastafari, Pan-Africanist beliefs.

ME: I longed for this, as well.

Have a good one!
