Omg boring!!

I have been waiting to see this doc for a while. Omg it was so incredibly boring!! Snippets of interviews from the same people about nothing very exciting, going on and on and on. And it's 2 1/2 hours of this!!!

Maybe it's because I'm not a diehard fan. But this doc was a big dissappointment.

seriously me too! i had high expectations, but i couldn't get through more than 15 minutes of it. half the people being interviewed i couldn't understand what they were saying, and they would only put subtitles on the one's you could understand. lol

You probably just don't like documentaries, then, in which case you made a poor viewing choice. I'd have to question the taste of someone who can't even spell "ones", though. As far as a documentary about Marley, his music and his life goes, they could not have done it better. If the subject matter is not up your alley, then what did you expect?

The sky is blue

I thought it was the best musical documentary that I have ever seen. Like you said one has to like documentaries and/or the subject of the documentary. I wouldn't rent a movie about Celine Dion and expect to be enthralled by it.

I am going to watch the Extras now as I want to hear more from his kids.

There are several documentaries about Marley that blow this one away.

this piece of drivel seems designed solely to harp on Marley's personal relationships & family.

Almost EVERYTHING important about this incredible man: His political & religious roots, his business struggles with record companies, his collaborations with other musicians, and just plain what he stood for - all are completely glossed over.

What an incredible waste of film.
