Ziggy & Cedella

I don't mean no disrespect but something struck me odd.... I'm a big fan of Ziggy Marley & Melody Makers. Love them. One of my favorites. Having said that I'd never really heard Cedella speak. So I'm watching the doc and it struck me as odd that she speaks perfect English, no hints of a Jamaican accent at all. Yet Ziggy and Steven both have thick Jamaican accents. As far as I know they were all raised together in Jamaica. Or am I wrong? Was Cedella raised in the US? It just seemed odd her brothers would have that thick Jamaican accent but she wouldn't.
