Why don't we petition a reboot?

Most of you simply noticed my post count to be 1, so I will state I have not posted on this forum, I have never had the real need to until now, BUT I can say without a doubt I do know forums, and I have ideas, and I feel this is a good idea.

Many shows have made reboots, these days and many have done phenomenally well, for the younger ages mostly, but this would be a reboot into the same original viewers, so in turn making it a quick break maybe even push off a few years after the incident that happened at the end, give or take a few extra characters here and there, who knows where that could lead, give em new feels, kinda like they've been back at it and are a unit again but extras have been introduced and they're all just in there too, but i mean in general this would be good for us, so why don't we crowd fund this, reboot it, and get back on watching these amazing episodes of extraordinary characters and loveable people!!

Who can crowd fund, I can plan :P

Think about it, Firefly, Serenity.
90210 for Kids now,
Star Trek, movies revamping the old stories.
Star Wars, same thing.

Alphas was an amazing show, it has tons of potential, I think it'll keep going.

I could't agree more. Alpha's is amazing. It is like the best parts of Marvel Agents of Shield & Arrow but cooler. I sure hope you are right! By the way, this is my first comment on IMDB ever...but just had to say YOU ARE RIGHT!

The only problem with doing this is Warren Christie (Hicks) has a new show, plus he's doing double duty on "Motive". Laura Mennell (Nina) is on "When Calls The Heart". David Strathairn (Rosen) is heavy into theatre as well as other projects. Not sure what Azita Ghanizada (Rachel), Malik Yoba (Bill) or Ryan Cartwright (Gary) are doing and not sure if they're available. I don't give a crap about Erin Way's character. Didn't care for her or that she was basically Rogue. She took away screen time from Nina and Rachel and was so totally the Mary Sue of the show's second season. The only bring back I'd have is Summer Glau's character of Skylar. She was cool. I'd also love to bring back her daughter, Zoe. Regardless without the central characters the idea of crowdfunding a return is less than appealing to me, and the rights would have to be purchased from SyFy, and since they basically tanked it, I'm not sure they'd be willing to give up those rights. "Firefly/Serenity" was done right because it had Joss Whedon involved. As for "Star Trek" I hate the new films because they've watered down the original series premise to the point it means nothing any more. As for "Star Wars" .... "The Force Awakens" was one of the worst films I've seen in a long time, and that's hard to say because I didn't like the prequels, but they were better than TFA by a mile. Sometimes you should just leave sleeping dogs alone. And this show is now preserved in amber. Leave it alone. We don't need another reboot that could possibly without the show's original creator/showrunner, make the show worse.

Sometimes my ruminations are too confusing for someone not inside my head. -Anon
